Setting goals requires an action plan. If you really wish to be a winner, it is very important for you to write down exactly what you want and how you are planning to get it. Make a goal sheet where you write your plans down – look at it every day and write your progress and accomplishments as you go. Create a new one every month or every week…
Hang a picture of that brand new car you wish to purchase in your bathroom's mirror so that you see it every day and be reminded about your dream. Write in detail the size of the piece of land that you wish to buy, the zone in which you want it and what kind of house will you build, including the materials needed, etc. By bringing all of those details to your mind, you can now face the reality of your goals and realize that they're not out of your reach, if you really desire them.
Before you begin, take some time to think what you're about to do. Setting goals and creating a plan of action requires a great dose of honesty and commitment. You need to be honest to yourself and set realistic goals that you can reach within six months.
Then create a strong commitment to yourself to faithfully follow your action plan. If you tell everyone that you want something, but you lack of dedication, commitment and courage to get it, you're only fooling yourself. The only one who wins or loses is YOU!
